Honest guidance for brands that stand for something.

Brand clarity, storytelling, and direction for founder-led overland and outdoor companies, craft food & beverage makers, and mission-driven nonprofits. Especially when growth becomes a grind.

You didn’t build your brand to become another polished, corporate clone. You built it because you gave a damn; about the craft, the community, and the culture. I help founders grow without compromising who they are, so you can scale with intention and keep the soul of what you’ve built.

What I Do for Founders

I’ve spent 20 years in the field; building communities for outdoor brands, shaping stories for craft makers, and leading mission-driven nonprofits. I’ve seen when things get overwhelming and the work starts to feel like a grind.

  • Finding your center when things get difficult.

  • Identifying the bottlenecks; what’s working and what’s holding you back.

  • Building direction for what comes next.

  • Making your story make sense, whether that’s around a campfire or in your campaigns.

Clarity is the compass. Once we have that, we build the strategy, and the presence that makes your brand impossible to ignore.

The Work

  • A narrow dirt road winding through a dense forest of tall evergreen trees. A black suv is driving down the road, which has a slight curve to the right. The lighting suggests it is late afternoon or early evening.

    Brand Clarity & Storytelling

Say the thing only you can say, and say it clearly. Your story already exists because you’ve lived it. I help you articulate it so people feel that connection. This shows on your website, in your long-form writing, and across social media. Wherever your brand speaks, it should sound like you.

The goal is honest storytelling that builds trust. Trust is what keeps people coming back.

    Trail-Built Growth Strategy

A clear and grounded path for founder-led brands. Founders already have enough ideas. What they need is a strong identity and message tied to the reason they exist. I’ll help you bring your brand back to center so growth no longer feels chaotic, it feels intentional.

The goal is to establish a direction that feels honest, simple, and actionable.

  • Group of people sitting around a campfire at night under a starry sky, with a field of tall grass or corn in the background and chairs around the fire.

    Immersive Brand Experiences

Create moments people remember for the right reasons. Your brand is much more than a booth or an activation. It’s how people experience your craft in the real world. This strategy shapes the concepts behind events, pop-ups, and field demos so every interaction carries your story.

The goal is a presence that builds trust and reminds people why your brand matters.

The Path Ahead

I’ve spent the last 20 years inside the overland and outdoor world, building events and community, shaping stories, and working shoulder-to-shoulder with founders. I’ve seen what works and what feels real. I’ve also seen what causes a brand to drift off course.

This is what I’ve learned: Founder-led brands don’t need to be louder than their competitors. They need a clearer story.

My roots are firmly in the world of overland and outdoor culture, but I also work with craft food & beverage makers and mission-driven nonprofits. I focus on any founder-led brand built around real craft and real community.

I help you articulate who you are and where you’re heading. Then we build a story and direction that actually fits the way you’re built. This isn’t about corporate polish. It’s about leading with the truth and creating a connection that lasts.

Anthony Sicola, Founder, Feral Soul Collective

I’ve spent my life in motion. I followed surf breaks, backcountry trails, and long stretches of highway across North America, Europe, and India. This path took me deep into outdoor and overland culture long before it became a commercial industry. Living on the road taught me how to read people, trust my gut, and keep going when the trail disappeared.

Those experiences eventually pulled me into community and nonprofit work. This is where I learned what real impact looks like while earning a master’s degree in nonprofit leadership. From there, I moved into tech-for-good and later back into the overland world, where I spent more than a decade building stories, content, and community alongside independent brand builders, and founding a nonprofit focused on giving back to the places and people that shape this culture.

Through all of it, I kept meeting the same kind of person. Founders who care deeply about their craft, their team, and the community. I started Feral Soul Collective for people like that. Today, I work with founder-led outdoor and overland companies, craft food and beverage makers, and mission-driven nonprofits to bring clarity, shape direction, and help brands grow without losing the soul that made them worth building in the first place.

“I’ve chased stories across the world. Helping brands tell theirs is a natural extension of that.”
